‘The Memory of what Remains’ explores the connection between memory and the objects we choose to keep safe. Inspired by memory boxes and my personal collection, I examine how memories shift, evolve, and fade - especially in the shadow of grief. Beyond the objects themselves, I've discovered how scent holds an ability to reconnect us to moments thought lost. Using only clear glass and sandblasting, this reflects the delicate balance between memory’s permanence and its fragility. Questioning – do the objects we keep truly hold fragments of the past? Or do memories live within us - constantly changing, shaping who we are, yet never truly gone?
